The incident occurred when a casino security guard allegedly asked Nelly to show his player’s card before entering a restricted area. According to the guard’s report, Nelly responded by shoving him and then entering the area. The Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to the scene, and Nelly was later charged with misdemeanor assault in September 2025.
