The murder of 14‑year‑old Celeste Rivas in April 2025 has sent shockwaves through Los Angeles and beyond. Central to the case is a Hollywood Hills rental property that once belonged to the popular YouTuber and music producer known as D4vd. Prosecutors allege that the garage of this upscale home was used to store and dismember Rivas’s body after her death, and a series of photographs and forensic reports have brought the grim details into the public eye.

The Hollywood Hills Residence at the Center of the Investigation

The property, located on a quiet hillside street off the famed Sunset Strip, is a 4‑bedroom, 4.5‑bath house spanning roughly 4,300 square feet. It boasts high‑end finishes, terraces, lounge areas, and a private resort‑style pool that has made it a coveted rental in the area. According to Zillow, the home is now listed for more than $23,000 a month, even though it was the scene of a brutal crime.

In October 2025, TMZ released images of a cleanup crew clearing out D4vd’s belongings from the house. Bags of clothes and personal items were tossed as the property was prepped for a new tenant. The homeowner had previously told the outlet that he wanted to move on from the situation and re‑rent the property.

Law enforcement raided the house in September 2025 after discovering Rivas’s body in D4vd’s Tesla. The vehicle was found on the property’s premises, and investigators recovered a number of items that they say link the suspect to the crime.

Evidence Uncovered in the Garage

Prosecutors claim that the garage was a key part of their investigation. Court documents allege that Rivas was stabbed inside the home after being brought there in an Uber from her family’s house in Lake Elsinore, California. The evidence recovered from the garage is said to be consistent with an attempt to dismember her body.

Biological samples collected from the garage tested positive for blood, and forensic analysts noted cuts in a blue inflatable pool that was allegedly used to contain blood. Fragments of the pool material were later found in connection to the case, further supporting the prosecutors’ theory.

In addition to the blood evidence, investigators recovered other items that they say point to a deliberate attempt to conceal the crime. These include:

  • Blood‑stained clothing and personal items left in the garage.
  • Pieces of the inflatable pool with visible cuts and blood residue.
  • Digital evidence from D4vd’s devices that allegedly reference the crime scene.
  • Vehicle records indicating that the Tesla was parked at the property on the day of the murder.

These findings have been presented to the court as part of the prosecution’s case against D4vd, who was arrested in early 2026 and has pleaded not guilty.
