Frankie Valli’s first foray into fatherhood began in 1957 when he married ex-wife Mary Mandel. However, Mandel had a daughter, Celia, from a previous relationship. Valli and Mandel went on to welcome two more children together before their divorce in 1971.
Tragedy struck in 1980 when Celia passed away after falling off a fire escape. Just a few months later, Valli’s daughter Francine died of a drug overdose, leaving the family to cope with the devastating loss.
