In a case that has gripped the Dodge County community, 43-year-old Aaron Nelson has been arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide and concealing a corpse following the one-year disappearance of his wife, Alexis Nelson. The arrest, announced by the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, May 18, marks the culmination of an extensive investigation into the mysterious vanishing of Alexis, 42, who was last seen in May 2025.

The Arrest and Charges Against Aaron Nelson

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest in a Facebook statement, stating that Aaron Nelson is now in custody at the Dodge County Jail.
