In August 2024, a routine visit to Kathy Hilton’s sprawling Bel Air estate turned into a legal battle when a guest claimed she suffered a serious knee injury on the property. The lawsuit, filed in 2025, alleges that the injury was caused by a hazardous staircase and seeks more than $50,000 a year in future medical expenses. The case has drawn attention not only because of the high-profile defendant but also because it highlights the growing trend of property‑related injury claims in the celebrity real‑estate market.
