As the Winter Olympics are set to begin, NBC has announced that Savannah Guthrie, a well-known American journalist and news anchor, will not be joining the coverage. This decision comes after a personal tragedy befell her family, when her 84-year-old mother, Nancy Guthrie, was abducted from their Arizona home.
