Prime Video\u2019s latest superhero series, \u201cSpider-Noir,\u201d is turning heads for all the right reasons. Starring the legendary Nicolas Cage as a down-on-his-luck private investigator version of Spider-Man, the show is set in the gritty 1930s New York City. However, the plan quickly changed. \u201c[I was] asked to also develop a color look, and also shoot both at the same time,\u201d he added, noting that he worked on the project for ten months.<\/p>\n

The greatest challenge was discovering which colors, textures, and patterns worked well for both versions of each episode. They used various camera filters and tested how everything looked both still and in motion.<\/p>\n

The Story and Cast<\/h2>\n

The show follows Ben Reilly, also known as \u201cThe Spider,\u201d who stepped away from his superhero past but now must resume it. The cast also includes Lamorne Morris (\u201cNew Girl\u201d), Brendan Gleeson, and Li Jun Li (\u201cSinners\u201d).<\/p>\n

Although Cage is a Hollywood legend who has \u201cdone it all\u201d on the big screen, Warren said the show is his starring TV debut. \u201cHe was really appreciative of everything,\u201d Young told Page Six, adding that the \u201cFace\/Off\u201d actor was \u201cready to come in and learn the space, and adapt to the space.\u201d<\/p>\n
