Kitty Song Covey’s roller-coaster senior year is back on Netflix, and XO, Kitty season 3 drops a fresh batch of heart-fluttering moments, tear-stained letters, and brand-new faces. Whether you’re here to double-check that familiar face in the hallway scenes or you want a cheat-sheet on the newcomers, this guide walks you through every key actor and the résumé that got them to the Korean Independent School of Seoul (KISS).

Anna Cathcart Returns as the Ever-Curious Kitty Song Covey

Canadian actor Anna Cathcart reprises the role that started it all. After stealing scenes in Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy, Cathcart was handed the keys to her own series and has carried the franchise for three seasons of XO, Kitty. Fans first met Kitty as the meddlesome but well-meaning little sister; now she’s a worldly high-school senior juggling college applications, visa headaches, and a long-distance boyfriend who keeps sending mixed signals.

Cathcart’s résumé stretches back to PBS’s Odd Squad, where she won a Daytime Emmy at age 11, and Disney’s Descendants 2. Off-screen she’s finishing an undergraduate degree remotely, proving she and her character share a talent for multitasking.

Returning Favorites: Min Ho, Yuri, Dae, Q, and More

Season 3 would feel empty without the classmates who’ve become Kitty’s chosen family. Here’s who’s back and what they’ve been up to between seasons.

Min Ho Moon – Sang Heon Lee

The self-declared “Seoul-mate” returns with sharper comedic timing and, surprisingly, a softer side. Sang Heon Lee was working as a part-time model and English tutor when he booked XO, Kitty as his first major credit. Two seasons later he’s a global heart-throb with 4 million Instagram followers and a role in the upcoming Apple TV+ thriller Seoul Ghost.

Yuri Han – Gia Kim

Yuri’s struggle with family expectations and her feelings for a certain American transfer student remain central. Gia Kim, a Korean-born, U.S.-trained actor, made her on-screen debut in season 1. Since then she’s wrapped the indie film Happy Old Year and filmed a cameo in Mr. Queen, the historical K-drama.

Dae Heon Kim – Choi Min-young

Dae’s puppy-dog sincerity won viewers over in season 1, but season 3 tests his patience when a new scholarship rival threatens his top ranking. Choi Min-young is a familiar face to K-drama fans thanks to Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Strong Girl Bong-soon. He balances acting with university classes in theater studies.

Quincy “Q” Shabazian – Anthony Keyvan

Q’s open-mic poetry nights and dating-app mishaps provide comic relief. Off-screen, Keyvan has been a staple of YA streaming shows: Love, Victor, Genera+ion, and Alexa & Katie. Season 3 gives Q his first serious love interest, allowing Keyvan to flex dramatic muscles he rarely gets to use.

Marius – Sule Thelwell

The Jamaican-Korean soccer prodigy is back as Kitty’s confidant and occasional chauffeur. XO, Kitty is Thelwell’s first screen credit, discovered through an open-call audition in Seoul. Expect to see him next in the sports film Goalposts, currently shooting in South Africa.

Season 3 Newcomers You’ll Be Googling by Episode 2

No teen drama is complete without new blood. These actors shake up the KISS ecosystem and, in true XO, Kitty fashion, arrive with secrets.

  • Ji-hyun “Jinny” Park – Lee Si-woo: A transfer from Jeju International School, Jinny becomes Kitty’s academic rival for the coveted Seoul University early-admission slot. Lee Si-woo is best known for the thriller Reborn and Netflix’s zombie series We Are Not Dead Yet.
  • Seo-jun “Rowan” Kim – Kim Jae-hwa: The new photography TA who catches Yuri’s eye. Kim Jae-hwa previously played a younger version of the male lead in the period drama Red Sleeve.
  • Valentina Shaw – Valentina Lima: An American fashion-influencer exchange student who rooms with Kitty. Lima is a Brazilian-Italian actor making her English-language debut after starring in the Brazilian telenovela Terra Brava.
  • Principal Han’s son, Daniel –
